The truth about hay is, good hay is expensive. We planted hay on site in Spring 2020 for which the seed alone was $4000. There is the added expense of bailing that once cut as well. Annual fertilization is a recurring expense which is necessary, but costly!

These funds are used for supplies for the chickens including shaved bedding, nesting pads, treats, medicine, etc.

Training requires great skill and patience. And with rescue horses dealing with overcoming past traumas as well.
