I came from the auction kill pen in 2020 alongside Korah and Scarlett; we’re all related. Somewhere along the way, humans started calling me the rescue’s “mega mare,” and they’re not wrong. I will absolutely test you just to see what you’re made of. Push your buttons? Oh, definitely. I like to know if you’ve got boundaries, confidence, and enough grit to stand your ground when I turn the heat up a little. But here’s the thing people eventually figure out: underneath all that fire is a horse that’s incredibly smart… and actually pretty sweet once you earn it. I don’t hand trust out for free, and I respect people who can handle strong personalities without trying to crush them. I came from a cattle ranch originally and still carry my brand, proof of the life I had before rescue. I’ve been under saddle briefly here and there, and with some refresher work, there’s no reason I couldn’t keep learning. My mind is sharp, and I like having something to focus on. When I first came through auction and quarantine, I was pretty sickly and run down. But don’t worry, I made one heck of a comeback. These days I’m an easy keeper with plenty of attitude, plenty of opinions, and enough mare energy to power the entire property. I’m currently available for adoption to someone who appreciates a bold horse with a huge personality and an even bigger heart hiding underneath it.
