Oh! Hey! Is that food? …No? Okay, but if you do have snacks, you should probably come over here anyway. My name’s Maverick, and I’m an 18-year-old Tobiano Paint who came from Sheboygan County Sheriff’s seizure back in November 2025. Honestly, if you walk by holding treats, grain, a bucket, or really anything that might contain snacks, I’m probably going to nicker at you. Loudly. Just in case it’s for me. You never know unless you ask, right? When I first got here, I was in really rough shape with a body score of 1, and my humans say I’ve still got a lot of healing and rebuilding to do. I’m on grain and supplements to help me keep a healthy weight, and because of an old pelvic injury, my back end can be pretty sensitive sometimes. My pelvis healed all funky from a previous break, so I’ve got a sway back and carry my weight a little differently than other horses. But I still make it work just fine. These days, I’ve definitely earned my pasture pet status. I’ve been through enough in life already, and now my main jobs are eating snacks, soaking up sunshine, and making sure nobody forgets to bring the treat bucket my direction first. Right now, I am available for adoption to the right family and herd, as I do not like to be picked on. Sponsorship is available as well… preferably from someone carrying carrots.
