Roane is a shy gelding who made his way to rescue in Fall 2023 with his friend Duncan. Saved from slaughter, he arrived and his new life began. Roane is a small gelding, and a real beauty with stunning blue eyes. His past is unknown to us, but it is apparent there has been abuse in his past. Emotionally, he is progressing in trusting people again. Physically, he will likely require medicine for the rest of his life due to pain from arthritis, and will be carefully managed during sunny days to protect him from sunburn which upon intake had caused considerable skin damage around his eye.
